Fry Group Financial Adviser Amanda Newell gave a presentation at the launch of ‘Women & Money’ – a series of events in partnership with Professional Women International (PWI). Through this series of workshops Amanda explained how women can achieve financial independence, look after their money in a tax efficient way, and plan for the future. The series built on the individual’s knowledge of saving and investing, explaining how to achieve this tax-efficiently and how to plan for future retirement.

Amanda’s presentation showed how to think ethically for the future and use this knowledge to invest in a socially responsible way. It was a well-attended event with audience participation, and Amanda was also joined by Senior Financial Adviser Katie Boag-Thomson for a Q&A session. Based on feedback from the participants the next event in May 2019 will be tailored to include further topics of interest.
