Fulcra sponsors BRIDFAS lecture

On Wednesday 15 January Fulcra was delighted to sponsor a BRIDFAS lecture by Dr Paula Nuttall on Urbino: the Palace, the Patron and Piero della Francesca. The ducal palace of Urbino is the most perfect of Italian Renaissance palaces and was the creation of the cultivated soldier-prince, Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino, as a showcase for his prodigious wealth and impeccable taste, including paintings by Piero della Francesca.

Introduced by Managing Director Ed Read Cutting, the lecture covered the architecture and treasures of Urbino and its fate in later years, and ended with a reminder that even the richest of benefactors can and should benefit from wise financial advice to ensure a legacy which lives on for the benefit of future generations!
