On Saturday 8th December, Ed Read Cutting was invited to visit the British School of Brussels (BSB) campus where both members of the Belgian Special Olympics (BSO) squad and BSB athletes joined forces to compete in the second ‘Play Unified’ Swimming Gala.

BSB has enjoyed a 25-year relationship with BSO, sharing the philosophy and the values of solidarity, respect and integration.

Hundreds of swimmers, spectators and family members took part in the day organised by BSB students as part of their Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) work.

The Friends of BSB (a parent run association which The Fry Group is delighted to support) raised €13,000 which was presented to the BSO in the form of a cheque.

Proudly presenting the cheque
