On Tuesday 5th June, Amanda Newell spoke at an informal interactive event for the BCT (Brussels Childbirth Trust) on the topic of ‘What happens if I die in Belgium and Understanding Life Insurance.’ She was accompanied by our Belgium Director Ed Read Cutting.

Amanda outlined the procedures required to maximise protection, including marriage contracts, wills and existing life insurance. Belgium has strict regulations concerning inheritance and taxes with various regional differences, so she also explained the importance of life insurance for those with responsibilities such as providing income, repaying a mortgage or protecting children in case of death. With cost-effective life insurance in place families can be assured that they will be covered in the event of the loss of a loved one, and if you would like more information on this aspect of financial planning please contact info@thefrygroup.be
