On a sunny evening on Monday 27 March, nearly 150 people gathered for the Great Brussels Charity Bake Off. Spoons at the ready, it was an evening spent tasting cakes made by amateur bakers.

Competing teams were separated into two categories, Superheroes vs Supervillains, and were judged on aesthetics and taste by a selection of well-known Belgian chefs.

Although The Fry Group did not take part in the baking this year, we did participate in the tasting!

This annual event is organised by the young professional network of the British Chamber of Commerce: Brussels New Generation. The aim was to raise money for the Community Help Service, an English speaking charity helpline based in Brussels. We are proud to support this very worthy cause and delighted to hear that over €3,000 was raised.
